Behind the scenes, April was a very busy month. The new rules again allow our running friends from the Netherlands, France and Luxembourg, start in waves of up to 25, but no amateur races yet. Therefore, the Pinksterloop is also offered in an alternative way. A busy programme follows:
- Brugse 4 Kastelenroute (13/05 - 16/05). Registration until 5/5 19h.
- Alternative Pinksterloop (22/05 - 30/05). Registration until 11/5 19h for Whitsun weekend, until 19/5 19h for last weekend.
- Play & Eat Family Marathon Middelkerke (5/6 - 27/6). Registration until 20/5 24h at cheapest rate.
- Belgium Diagonal (2/7 - 14/7). Registration until 31/5 at current rate. Individual stages are also possible.
- 10° (festive edition) 6 hours of Aalter (18/7). Registration from 14/05 19h.
This month we have no less than 4 interviews to offer. One with Patrick De Schepper, the trainer who guided Jean-Paul Praet to 6h03 on the 100km. One with Thomas Van Woensel who ran an FKT on the GR129. With our European marathon champion Koen Naert. And this month's interview about running gear is about the innovations Mizuno is implementing in its shoes and about foam rollers.
We would also like to introduce Kristof De Stickere as our new volunteer, who will take care of our digital designs. And also Valentin Borremans who will take care of the French translations. Would you like to help us? E.g. with the English translation or to make movies, timelapse, photo slideshows, or anything else you are talented in. Be sure to let us know.
